Covid-19 measures
The wait is finally over and we can enjoy our favourite sport. Of course, your and our health is a major concern. Therefore, we have effected a list of measures to keep both our health and our good mood. In accordance to the regulations advised by the Corona commission, the following set of rules apply as long as Vienna is deemed to be level green or yellow:
If you show symptoms or suspect you might be infected, please stay at home, minimise contacts with others, call the Health hotline 1450 and follow their advice precisely.
- We have rearranged some furniture in order to provide more space and to adhere to the required safety distances.
- We are required to wear masks by the regulations, which entered into legal force on September 21st 2020. The only exception to this rule is while actively shooting.
- Disinfectant dispensers are placed in the hallway and should be used as soon as you enter the club.
- We ask that you sign a declaration of consent before your first visit, in order to confirm that you are healthy when you come training.
- Booking is required for admittance (no drop-ins).
- The shifts are 60 minutes long.
- A maximum of four people may be present in any shift. Two of them shoot while the other two rest, in order to keep the required distance. This ensures a participant number equal to or lower than 6 people, in compliance with the regualtions of Friday 23rd of November 2020.
- The safety distances are 2 metres while shooting, 1 metre while resting.
- Arrows are only drawn individually and only your own. In principle, touching the surface of the target should not pose any risk, provided that all other precautions are respected:
Only persons who have no symptoms and pose no risk of infection of any kind should be allowed to shoot. Theoretically, this means that the remaining risk could come from the hands, which must be disinfected when entering the premises. In addition, as always, it is recommended that neither the mask nor the eyes be touched. - Before and after every shift, there is a 15 minute pause. This way, we want to avoid overlaps and air thoroughly. Please do not come earlier than 10 minutes before your shooting session.
- The trainers will disinfect borrowed equipment after every shift.
- We will not lend shooting gloves.
- We ask you to bring your own water bottle. We will give glasses only in exceptional cases and these will be marked.
- After every shooting day, the trainers will disinfect often used surfaces (door handles, water spigots, window sills, and chests).
- Elastic bands will be changed after each use.
- A list of these measures will be hung in visible places in the club.
If you show symptoms or suspect you might be infected, please stay at home, minimise contacts with others, call the Health hotline 1450 and follow their advice precisely.
